Views of freighters
The training as locksmith combined with the fascination to metals, iron and steel in particular, hold a strong influence upon my work and myself.

For example; I see ships as shaped spiritual creatures, which have to face storms, have a past, and a future life. They are scared by the power of nature and time. Rust, cracked peeling paint and decay are the quiet witness of alternations and the passing of time.

Travelling the harbour I photograph the subjects. These experiences and the pictures taken, turn to ideas that translate into an artistic realization.
